EQ out front in a low "smiley face". EQ is key here. It clears up some of the mud.
This sounded more convincing when the Bitmo was installed and 5751 tube. The amp was modded much less gainey at that time. IMO the mods added more mojo than the 5751 did. Just backing off the vol and master gets pretty close to 5751 territory.
PLexi SE Cascade Mode - NOS 6V6GT

Z_Stingray's Plexi SE schematic (I changed it a little due to parts availability), scratch build, in an experimental chassis that can run a single 6V6 or KT77, 6L6, EL34 etc. MPS PT and an Edcor OT. NOS Sylvania 6V6GT, 2 Sovtek 12AX7LPS in the preamp. Speaker is a 1x12 WGS Lead 80. Guitar is a Les Paul Studio. Monster Rock 12 ft. cord.
